The start of the the new school year tends to feel like another January 1st, with many of us getting our lives, schedules, and priorities back on track after a long and (hopefully!) lazy summer. As such, the latest printable kit to hit The Organization Toolbox is designed to help you keep track and stay motivated on all those things you want and need to get done. Don’t worry…I’m not talking about a comprehensive goal-setting program or even a fancy planner…but rather, super simple and easy printable To Do lists in any size, shape, and level of detail you need in order to focus your efforts and get stuff done! This Ultimate To Do List Printable Pack features 13 different editable, fillable, and changeable To Do lists in a variety of colors and sizes, making it oh-so-simple to print off the exact To Do List you need to tuck into your planner, tape up on your refrigerator, or throw into your purse. Let me show you all the details!
With baby boy finally here, you better bet that I am
frantically scrambling looking for a way to stay on top of various household, family, business, and personal tasks. And while I’ve had periods in my life when I’ve relied on fancy planning systems to map out goals and plans, right now I just need something simple, fast and focused to help me accomplish something every day. These printable To Do Lists are just the ticket for when you want a clean and simple list…even if it’s just to cross stuff off it!
The Basic To Do List
This kit was a fun one to create because I really focused on options!!! I wanted to make this as versatile and useful of a set as possible; and as such, came up with a way for you to get exactly the To Do List you want for any aspect of your home or work life. Namely…these printable To Do Lists are about as customizable as they get! Not only is pretty much every element on each list fully changeable via editable text fields…
(NOTE: I have all the lists pre-titled for you with phrases such as “To Do,” “Let’s Do This,” “Get It Done,” etc. But other great titles include “This Week,” “Errands To Run,” “Don’t Forget,” and “Priorities.” Best of all? You can put whatever YOU want in there!)
…but the lists come in a variety of sizes and shapes, making them ideal to run off in bulk and use as needed!
The basic To Do List, shown above, is available in both black-and-white and color versions…and in 5 different sizes!
Depending on what size you need, simply print the To Do List onto white paper or colored cardstock and trim down on the included lines!
By swapping out the text along the top and choosing your size, paper, and color printing, the options for making these printable To Do Lists exactly what you need are truly endless!
Categorized To Do Lists
Clean and simple is where I’m personally at right now, but I realize that some of you might want a more detailed list option. As such, in addition to the 5 basic To Do Lists shown above, I also included 6 different categorizable To Do Lists!
From 1 up to 9 different categories, these pages can be used for a wide variety of list-making needs (packing lists, grocery lists, project lists)! Each page not only allows you to customize the overall title, but also the heading banners atop each category.
In addition to the categorized checklists shown above, there is also 7 section checklist. This layout obviously lends itself to a weekly agenda (as shown below). However, since every single element on this worksheet is editable, you can use it for anything you can think of!
Post-It Note Checklists
The final option in this kit is a set of mini checklists that can be printed directly onto Post-It Notes! (These are my very favorite part of this whole kit!)
This kit includes the printing template as well as the checklists themselves. Let me quickly show you how these work!
Start by printing the template onto plain printer paper.
Next, load your Post-It Notes into the dashed boxes – the more colors the better!
Following your specific printer’s instructions, load the template (with Post-It Notes attached) back into your printer. This time, select and print (at 100% resolution) just the checklists page from the printable kit (don’t forget to edit the titles as you wish!).
If you lined up everything correctly, you’ll have a set of personalized, customized Post-It Note checklists ready to use anywhere around the home, classroom, office, etc!
These are great for tucking into planners or for really specific projects. I’ll be honest, these mini lists are how I’m getting through the day these days and they typically include:
- Feed the baby
- Snuggle the baby
- Feed the baby
- Snuggle the baby…
Admittedly, simplicity is not something I am really known for. But this time, easy was my primary focus. By design, there’s nothing complicated or fussy about these printable To Do Lists. They are just pages and pages of colorful, customizable checklists that are sure to help you get more done without any fuss!
