I am popping in today to share a super simple and super fast little project! Check out my cute little Insta Frames! These little guys are aptly named “Insta Frames” because 1) they are such a simple and darling way to showcase your favorite Instagram photos, and 2) they are SO quick and easy to make, you can make them in an Instant (ha.ha.ha.).
I was waltzing walking through Michael’s last week on my child-free morning, just soaking up the freedom and letting myself browse and explore the aisles…which I rarely get to do. I came across their new line of wooden laser cut products – bunting and frames and letters and oh my! If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so soon because they have so much cute stuff (by the way, this is NOT a sponsored post for Michael’s – I just really love this new collection of stuff!). I couldn’t decide what to get (I wanted it ALL!) but as I am trying to keep my craft hoard stash under control, I only allowed myself to pick up a few things to play with. When I spotted these little frames, their square shape immediately brought to mind all those Intagram pics that get trapped on our phones…and an idea was born!
I’m not kidding when I say these are an “instant” project. All I did was give each frame two light coats of spray paint (only because that’s what I prefer, craft paint would do just fine here too!). Then I printed a few of my recent Instagram pics (sized to 3″ squares to fit into the frames) onto photo paper; trimmed them down; and then attached them to the back of the frames with roller adhesive.
I think these frames would be so darling strung onto ribbon as bunting or hung on a fridge with magnets. I just popped mine up on my office cork board with a few clear tacks to bring some friendly faces into my work space. I love that I can swap out/update the photos super easily!
I hope your week gets off to a great start. I am knee-deep in a bunch of various projects. I should have a few reveals up for you here soon!Posted In DIY Decor, North Carolina, Sewing
