I have been absolutely inspired by all the amazing mini trees around the blog-o-sphere and have been super antsy to do my own!  After looking at idea after idea, I finally decided to keep mine simple and let my amazing fabric do all the work!

Using fabric glue, I applied my Michael Miller dotted fabric to my paper-mache trees.  I made cute little toppers by “stringing” beads onto a straight pin and sticking it into the top!

I added some beads and buttons down the back seam with some straight pins! Love this detail, don’t you?

For my last tree, I made a glitzy one – just because I could!  It helped that I had a spool of red sequins in my bead and sequin stash (no lie!).  I simply wrapped the sequin trim around the tree, hot-gluing as I went.  I started at the top and worked my way down to the bottom.  I added a cute bead tree topper to this one too!

I put two of the trees on top of my lazy susan and my new snowflake table runner with a candle.  To “glam up” the candle, I simply added some matching ribbon, also with straight pins (right into the candle!).  Doesn’t this make such a festive table center?

The other three trees joined Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the animals to bring  a little holiday cheer to the manger scene!

I am having so much fun with my holiday decor this year!  Can’t wait to post pictures of our holiday wreaths and our new tree skirt!  So many fun projects to do this time of year!
