Hello Friends! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. We continue to be busy, busy, busy here…still getting settled with this, that, and the other and working away on lots of fun new projects. I had all these hopes and plans to share a bunch of updates with you guys this week, but I’ve got to be real with you: getting my new site ready, updated, and launched is taking more out of me than I expected!
I’ve been trying to squeeze it all in and have been failing. Between finishing, photographing, and blogging new projects, making the blog updates, AND having Henry home with me all day, every day, I have been stressed and frustrated that nothing seems to be getting done. I so badly wanted the site to be up and ready for our “Kansas” launch but it wasn’t quite done with the designer…and before I get too far down the road with new projects, I need to get it launched. SO…I’m giving myself a week to catch my breath and focus entirely on the blog update. Fingers crossed this time next week, we’ll have a fresh new look around here and get back on track with house updates! Promise you’ll stick with me!
So while I take a little break out here on the blog, know that I am working super hard behind the scenes to get everything done and updated and back up and running! An updated look, enhanced project galleries, a shop, and a faster site are all in the makings! In the meantime, some of my feeds and updates and links haven’t been working properly in recent weeks, so be sure to catch up on any posts you may have missed!

Lastly, make sure you are following The Homes I Have Made on your social media of choice to get updates one what’s going on behind the scenes and (more importantly) when I’m back up and running with new a new look and new content!
I really, really hate to do this, but it’s got to be done for my sanity and for your viewing pleasure! With this next hurdle behind me, I should be able to really dive into the latest projects and updates in our Kansas house without turning back!
Send lots of good vibes…this Blogger to WordPress transition is no joke!
Hope to see you back here real soon!Posted In Kansas, Personal Post
