I’m so over-the-moon excited to share the next project from Henry’s Big Boy Room makeover! When ForRent.com asked me to create a DIY ottoman, I knew JUST the perfect spot for such a project!
Paired with Henry’s “new” rocking chair, this Mid-Century-Modern-Inspired footstool/ottoman really is a fantastic and welcomed accessory to this reading corner. I made this using all raw materials you can purchase right off-the-shelf at your local craft and hardware stores. AND, it was super easy to make, taking me just an afternoon to pull together from start to finish. You can head over to ForRent.com to get the full tutorial to make your own!
What’s great about this tutorial is you can follow the same steps to make an ottoman any shape, size, and style you want. Just change up the shape of the wood, the fabric choice and the legs and you can have a look that’s perfect for your home!
Keep in mind, this tutorial will never appear here on THIHM so jump over and get the full how-to HERE!
I’ll be back Friday with my latest plant addition to our home 🙂Posted In 2 - DIY & Home Decor, DIY Decor, Furniture Makeovers, I Write For, North Carolina, Sewing & Crafts
