Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!
I know Friday isn’t my usual posting night, but I wanted to pop on really quick to let you know that the templates for my Magnetic Menu Board are now available for download!!
(Full disclaimer here: I am pretty new to blogging and don’t really know how all this cool stuff works! I am teaching myself little by little, one step at a time…and today, I figured out how to link pdf’d files so you all can download my printables in one pretty package.)
I have received so many hits, comments, and pins on my Menu Board project, most of you saying you wanted to make one too! Â As a result, I really wanted to make these available to you so you can be one step closer to making a menu board of your own. Hopefully, by having these templates, some of the work is already done for you!
UPDATE: These menu board templates are now for sale in my
(Please keep in mind that these are for personal use only!!)
And if you have no idea what I am talking about and what all these labels are for, then you can read my Magnetic Menu Board posts here:
I am toying with the idea of creating a similar package in other color schemes! Is that something you would like to see? If so, let me know and I can put some other packages together!
Monday, I will have all my food labels from my Monster Party up and ready for you to download too, so check back!
XoXo,
Megan

Wow! What a great idea. Thanks for all the hard work and for sharing it.

Thank you for this! I have done something similar but it still needs some tweaking – and your idea of color coding by the types of protein I think will do it!
By the way, I LOVE love LOVE the title of your blog! We are getting ready to move to home #15 and, like you, try to make it a home even if I know it is only temporary!
This idea is great, and I've been working to organize my recipes. What I need to know is how you got the colors to print in your boxes? I'm a bit techno challenged… I did go to Design Seeds and found some colors I like, but have no idea how to print anything using them!
Hi Barbara! The program I used to design these templates (My Digital Studio) has a "match" or "picker" function where I can select a color on my screen and match my shape, text, etc. Once I have my image selected, I simply match the color to the Design Seeds image. I think PowerPoint has a similar feature and I am sure other programs do as well! Hope that helps!
I saw your menu board on Pinterest last week and dropped everything to make a similar one!! Thank you so much for the inspiration–I love how it turned out. Your board looks gorgeous, and it's such an easy and efficient meal-planning system!
Love this idea! SO awesome! super excited to be a new follower 🙂 xo
Love love love this, but can't seem to download the template.
Help!!!
I can't either!! I need help too!
what a super fantastic idea! i'll be sure to share your menu planing system at future speaking engagements and direct them here for the download – I'm sure there are a LOT of family managers that will LOVE it!
Thanks so much for sharing your creative talent. 🙂

ps- sometimes I feel like a military wife too – Our little family has moved 5 times in the 12 years it has been established (due to grad school and job placement). There is another move on the horizon & at least more more after that before we *hopefully* get to settle into our 'someday' home. 🙂
I saw this on Pinterest last week and I've been anxiously awaiting for the weekend when I can sit down and make it. Then I found it posted on my favorite blog iHeart Organizing. So great! I am able to download it, but I can't add or change the text. Is there a way to do that from the download?
I was actually wondering that too. Is there a way to add or change the text? I am so exciting about making this!
You've done a great job with this project and posting. Your menu board is super. Would love to see your templates in other colors!(Personally, I'm designing one in blues, lime green, turquoise, orange, and yellow, if that is a scheme you would consider?) 🙂 Thanks for posting the download.
