I completed my first project of the 2011 Christmas season (gasp!). I snagged these snowflakes while waiting in line to checkout of JoAnns (man! they always get me right at the end!). They were marked for $1/piece, which I thought was way too high. Still, I kept looking at them (and hemming and hawing) as I moved forward in line. Since I had a coupon for 25% off my entire purchase, I went ahead and bought them, knowing that I would be able to do something super fun with them!
I had the thought to make a table runner with my felt shapes BEFORE I went on Pinterest and found others like it! And I thought I was so brilliant! Oh well! Nonetheless, this was fun and quick to make! Here’s how I did it!
I started here:
And this is what I did:
I just love the way it turned out, don’t you?!?. It makes a huge impact on my dark dining room table! Now I can’t wait to make some things to go on top!
Nice job! Thanks so much for linking up to Things I’ve Done Thursday!!

My sister redid my table this past year and I'm going to make a cloth runner. Now I'm tempted to make one with felt shapes too. I'm curious how well it held up after through holidays.
