If you’re looking for a quick, easy, fun, and super adorable project to make this weekend, I have just the thing for you!

I have had this toddler pouf pillow on my To Do List for ages. From the first time I saw the idea here, I knew I had to make one for Henry’s new playroom. When I found some 60″ wide grey corduroy on clearance at Hancock for $3/yard a while back, I snagged some and set it aside for this exact project!

I used THIS tutorial to make the pouf, and I have to say, it came together SO nicely. Susan’s directions and pictures really make this a breeze to assemble. I should have heeded her advice though, and used the small store-bought piping. I made my own piping, using some cord I had on hand, and it ended up being really thick and bulky. Not an issue for around the top and bottom, but piping the handle was a bit tricky!

It took me one nap to cut it all out, and another nap to assemble the whole thing, so it really is a quick afternoon or weekend project. My little guy loves to sit on it while we read books, and it seems all the neighbor kids love to sit and bounce on it too!

Oh, and that handle is just right for dragging it all over the house!

I’ve got a ton of little projects that I am hoping to wrap up this weekend. Are you working on anything fun!
